Mountain Biking in North Wales
Mountain biking in Bala, North Wales
A nation with a proud history and unique character, yet only a few hours from most British cities by road or rail. Wales is a fantastic country to visit on or off the bike.
With thousands of miles of superb riding available, it doesnt matter whether you are looking for relaxing forest or valley trails, or the adrenalin rush of ultra technical mountain descents and tortuous hand carved singletrack; Wales has it.
Epic mountain day rides with only a few buzzards and maybe a red kite for company, or going shoulder to shoulder with your maddest mates on a full pro level dual slalom course; we've got that too.
Dolgellau has a strong mountain biking pedigree; as well as having its own trail network, it is close to the purpose built and demanding routes within the Coed y Brenin and Corris forests, and the more naturalistic wilderness rides around Machynlleth. As such it is the perfect venue for novice and expert mountain bikers alike.
